Through a novel 'micro'-insurance plan, Naya Jeevan will leverage Corporate/SME/NGO partnerships, collective social responsibility, a unique cost-sharing model and novel distribution channels to access and empower household staff (drivers, cooks, maids, guards, etc. and their families) working for corporate officers/managers as well as low-income corporate employees and contract workers (factory/construction workers, waiters, teachers, etc.). As part of a comprehensive approach, this also includes providing primary and preventative healthcare education, as well as workshops on sanitation, hygiene, environmental protection, and relevant skill development training to low-income families.
