At Naya Jeevan we work in collaboration with corporate, academic, and non-profit institutions so that we can catalyze a new wave of social responsibility that can be leveraged to realize a positive sustainable outcome for all stakeholders. The Pakistan floods of 2010 have been described as one of the worst disasters in UN history. Recent estimates are that one fifth of Pakistan is covered with floods and twenty million people have been directly affected. Aid has been slow compared to the scale of the disaster. The worst might not be over with more rains predicted, and increased relief & medical needs after the flood waters recede.
